@robkramarz hooked this bone yesterday. Unfortunately, a lemon shark got it during the fight. The only thing sticking out of the shark's mouth was the bonefish tail. I applied the stiffy push pole, 24' tomahawk chop to it's dome piece. Fortunately, it caused him to cough up the bone as he ran for his life. We watched the bone slowly swim off with Rob's fly hanging off of its face towards the shallowest part of the flat. We were optimistic and hoped for the best. We scared off another half dozen sharks immediately following the fight. 10 minutes later, I had a shot at a tailing bone swimming to me. I threw the fly, came tight and caught the exact same bone that Rob had just lost to a shark attack. The fish lost a lot of scales, and had some deep punctures. We let him rest in the livewell, and had a surprisingly good release about 15 minutes later. You never know, he may have made it. #crazyaf #rustyflycharters #chaostheorycharters
