The Fall is my favorite time of year to fish in the Florida Keys. The crowds are gone, and the fishing can be phenomenal! This is our best time of year target large schools of redfish and bonefish, plus the baby tarpon fishing can be fantastic. Fall seems to get everything happy and on the move. They are focussed on getting fat before Old Man Winter shows his face and settles in with his unpredictable weather patterns.
Greg’s first redfish and tarpon on fly
Vince with his permit, that turned into a yellow jack! He made a perfect shot in the school of permit and this guy was the most aggressive.
Sun bathing
This is the first trolled bonefish I have ever seen. Mike didn’t even have his rod in his hand and this fish ate the fly as we were drifting.
